Sandrine Lipana Bides is a Senior University Relations Program Manager at Rivian. In the last three years, Sandrine created an intentional and inclusive intern program for hundreds of year-round interns across the multiple Rivian locations, with a focus on leadership, belonging & wellness, and community outreach. She also championed recruiting event & marketing strategies to maximize event efficiency, increase program awareness, and create impactful experiences for students. Sandrine is passionate about fostering spaces for students where they can be their best self every day, while establishing strong communities and having fun along the way.
Career Highlight
"Our intern program hosts numerous events alongside Rivian’s Belonging Resource Groups (BRGs), but recently I spearheaded a more formal and intentional collaboration with them. We brought BRG representatives to campus recruitment events and diversity conferences, addressing how sparse opportunities are for folks from underrepresented communities and how important professional networks and support are for early success. I also launched a BRG Intern Mentorship Program for our current interns. The program gives interns a 1:1 mentor, promoting a safe space for interns to feel celebrated and gain mentorship from leaders with similar backgrounds, cultures and upbringings."
