Sam Rainey is a Manager of Campus Recruiting & Intern/Co-Op Program at Michelin North America. In his role at Michelin North America, Sam is responsible for establishing strategic partnerships with targeted universities and professional organizations to attract a diverse candidate pool to meet business needs. He also manages the total Intern/Co-Op experience that encompasses the hiring process, a resource for managers, coordinating events, synthesize student feedback, and performance evaluation. Sam strives to attract a diverse talent pool and provide the tools and resources necessary to support the candidate’s career development.

Career Highlight

Over the past 2 years, Sam Rainey has increased Michelin North America recruitment at HBCUs from 1 to 7 total. This has resulted in 11 intern students across the various HBCUs as well as converted 5 of the 11 interns into full-time hires. The increase of HBCU recruitment will be an annual initiative moving forward!
