Sam Gaither is an Operations Manager of Recruiting at CBIZ. In her role, Sam’s biggest responsibility has been to develop the new CBIZ Recruiting Operations team where she leads a team of 11 including Coordinators, Interns, and Researchers. Additionally, Sam is passionate about continuing to develop the entire recruiting team, focusing much of her time managing the tech stack, ensuring positive vendor relationships, and working with CBIZ’s Sr. Leadership team to foster new recruiting initiatives. Sam’s favorite part of her position is working with the Mergers & Acquisition team assisting with talent assessment, retention strategies, recruitment planning, and employer branding.
Career Highlight
"Over the past year, I focused on two key initiatives for our Operations Team. First, I spearheaded the creation of a dedicated coordinator team, streamlining recruiting processes and allowing recruiters to focus on strategic activities. This team improved communication, scheduling, and candidate management, enhancing overall efficiency. Second, I implemented performance metrics for our Researchers, providing clear targets and accountability. This has driven the team to improve candidate sourcing and screening, putting us on track to double their hire assists from 2023. These initiatives have underscored the importance of data-driven performance management within our team."
