Russell Aivazian, M.Ed. is a Sr. Early Career Recruiting Specialist at JLL. In their role at JLL, they are responsible for supporting internship recruiting for the Markets and Sustainability business lines. Prior to their role at JLL, Russell served as a Campus Recruiter for CVS Health supporting Retail and Pharmacy hiring across the Midwest. Russell spent eight years in Higher Education, working for various universities and supporting the hiring and operations for on-campus housing. Using this background, Russell emphasizes the candidate experience as well as identifying and overcoming potential barriers with student/school relationships.

Career Highlight

Instead of providing the standard information session, Russell met with target student groups during the last recruitment cycle and asked what type of content they would like to see presented. While ‘managing work/life balance’ was most popular, Russell’s highest success was an elevator pitch workshop with a group supporting Women in business. This two-day workshop (attended by 50+) discussed personal branding and a session where the students could practice elevator pitches with professionals at the company. This event helped enhance brand recognition on campus and further partnerships.
