Homecoming at MongoDB: How This Innovative Event is Celebrating and Connecting with the HBCU Community

Homecoming season is here – and no college or university does Homecoming like HBCUs. Every fall, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) welcome alumni back to campus for a weeklong community celebration unlike any other. And this year, MongoDB is creating its very own Homecoming to create a space for its HBCU employees and prospective HBCU candidates to feel heard, understood, and valued.

In this webinar, RippleMatch is excited to spotlight our partner MongoDB and hear from HBCU alum Courtney Turner (North Carolina A&T State University ‘18) about this new weeklong celebration, “Homecoming at MongoDB.” This event pays homage to the tradition of HBCU Homecomings to educate the broader community about the heritage and history of HBCUs, highlight the contributions and talents of current MongoDB employees who are HBCU alumni, as well as forge connections with current HBCU students to showcase career pathways and opportunities at MongoDB.
