Rebecca Roa - Nominee for Exceptional Leader Award

Rebecca is a Campus Recruiting Senior Manager at Yext, a company that helps businesses deliver official answers everywhere people search. In her role at Yext, Rebecca is responsible for working with hiring managers and FP&A to confirm headcount needs ahead of the company’s typical schedule and managing a team tasked with attracting and hiring top computer science students from universities across the country. Prior to her role at Yext, Rebecca managed the full-cycle recruiting process for software engineering candidates from targeted schools at Facebook. Rebecca is passionate about making Yext a company all students know and want to join.

Career Highlight

When it was evident shelter-in-place would affect Summer internships, there was no doubt Yext would pivot their typical in-person program to a virtual experience. Within a few short weeks, Rebecca and her team sprung into action attending webinars and conducting extensive research to ensure a virtual internship would be just as meaningful as an in-person opportunity. Rebecca and her team provided support and resources for the intern managers, and scheduled weekly social events to keep the interns engaged that helped with the program's highest intern conversion rate to date.
