Rashad currently serves as the Talent Marketing & Sourcing Specialist at Yelp Inc. In this role, he serves as an advocate and champion leader for diverse and early-talent students. His mission to present relevant professional development opportunities, both virtually and in-person, catered towards students of different demographics and various backgrounds is a huge driving force. "Over the last 3 years during the pandemic, I have hosted both in-person and virtual events that have been proven valuable from the early talent lens while transitioning into the workforce. These events ranged from resume-building workshops, informational sessions on interviewing tips, and panels on personal branding. To help with promoting these events, I crafted strategic segments geared toward Gen Z candidates and early talent individuals and sent them personalized campaign messages to help drive traction and attendance toward these events. Follow-up emails and reminder emails were also utilized to help with the attendance rate."
