Moving the Needle on Diversity & Inclusion
The PSEG University Relations model is designed with diversity in mind. The University Relations program is a pipeline for full-time, entry level opportunities throughout the enterprise. PSEG is dedicated to Diversity Equity and Inclusion, and focus their sourcing efforts at the earliest point of a student’s career development so they can grow and thrive within the organization. PSEG holds partnerships with HBCUs, HSIs and universities with high populations of students of color as well as working closely with student run organizations.
Investing in Impactful Internship Programs
PSEG’s internship program is dedicated to providing impactful work experiences that will prepare students for the full time opportunities. Interns are encouraged to get involved with community projects, local inclusion events, and get truly immersed in the company culture. PSEG also offers students the opportunity to shadow other teams to learn about the organization as a whole so they can see what the full breadth of opportunities might be for them. Based on student’s feedback, the highest rated attributes were the support for their learning and development. PSEG's intern conversion acceptance rates are at 90%.
