The Early Talent Team at Paylocity provides innovative recruitment opportunities — both virtually and in-person — including staying updated on the latest trends and insights in the early career market to attract and hire top talent. The team leverages the support of their alumni and former interns, who are now full-time employees at Paylocity, to represent the company on campuses, participate in the interview process, and mentor new candidates during and after the hiring process. Apart from career fairs, the team also conducts educational events, technology presentations, and information sessions for select student organizations. The team also utilizes social media to create awareness of the Paylocity culture and open positions. Paylocity values a quick and effective hiring process to ensure a positive experience for their student candidates.
Innovative Use of Technology
Paylocity places significant importance on both people and technology. Paylocity creates technology with a focus on people and adopt platforms that enhance the productivity and outcomes of the teams. To attract, recruit, engage, and onboard the best talent, Paylocity uses their own Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure a seamless candidate and employee experience. The team also leverages outreach tools, such as RippleMatch and Handshake, to connect with students and stay in touch through virtual events like interviews and information sessions.
Impactful Internship Program
Paylocity's internship program offers hands-on learning opportunities while providing a realistic preview of life at PCTY after graduation. The program takes a holistic approach by allowing interns to work on actual business projects and problems, giving them the chance to make an immediate impact and contribute to shaping the future of the company. Moreover, interns interact with top leaders in their departments and senior leadership. Interns will receive weekly professional development, financial wellness presentations, exposure to Employee Resource Groups, and discussions on mental health. One of the highlights of the program is the annual Internship Summit, which includes product co-creator activities, networking events, community volunteer activities, dinners, and more. Paylocity also provides the interns with direct access to the co-CEOs.
