Innovative and Multi-Faceted Approach to University Recruitment

Paylocity's Early Talent Team has had to be creative within both virtual and in-person recruitment environments to recruit early talent, while keeping a close eye on the continuously changing job landscape. The team has utilized young alumni and former interns — now full-time employees at Paylocity — to speak on "Ask Me Anything" panels for students, participate in the interview process, and serve as mentors for candidates during the interview process and after they have been hired. The team conducts skill-building workshops, tech presentations, and information sessions to select student organizations, and continues to develop relationships at core, strategic, and sponsored schools. It is important at Paylocity to make the hiring process quick and effective to ensure the student candidates’ experiences are incredible.

Impactful Internship Program

Paylocity's internship program is designed to create hands-on learning while giving a realistic preview of post-graduate life at PCTY. It encompasses a holistic approach by allowing interns to work on real business projects and problems to make an immediate impact and have a hand in shaping the future of the company. Interns are exposed to top leadership within their departments as well as Senior Leadership. Interns receive ongoing professional development, financial wellness presentations, exposure to Employee Resource Groups, and conversations surrounding mental health. PCTY has an incredible in-person Internship Summit that includes co-creator activities, coffee conversations with CEOs, community volunteer events, networking, dinners, and so much more!
