Paige is the Project Manager for Reimaging Diversity Recruiting at McMaster-Carr. In her role, Paige developed and piloted strategies to funnel a diverse pool of undergraduate hires into the company. Prior to her role at McMaster-Carr, Paige advocated for equitable changes to public education systems as a Policy Associate at an education policy nonprofit. Paige is grateful for the opportunity to work in recruiting at McMaster-Carr because she is passionate about connecting students to incredible opportunities. She looks forward to engaging with more students as McMaster-Carr continues to grow its suite of diversity recruiting strategies.

Career Highlight

Paige developed McMaster-Carr’s first virtual externship program as a strategy to connect with diverse groups of students. In under 2 months, Paige and her team created a one-week program to host students from underrepresented backgrounds and educated them about McMaster-Carr in facilitated sessions, shadowing, and conversations with company leaders. The program led to 10 new hires and 100% offer acceptance among the cohort. Paige is proud of the externship program and is grateful to work at a company that is committed to growing diverse talent at all levels.
