The Campus Recruiting team begins by providing clear job descriptions, outlining expectations, and offering insights into company culture. To set candidates up for success, they ensure transparent communication, offering timely updates on their application status. The interviews are designed to be informative, allowing candidates to showcase their skills and learn more about Niagara. Additionally, they provide resources for interview preparation and offer constructive feedback to enhance the learning experience. Niagara’s goal is to make the hiring journey insightful, respectful, and conducive to both personal and professional growth.
Overarching Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion
Niagara’s commitment to intentional inclusion is integral to sustaining innovation and making a tangible impact in both the industry and communities in which Team Members live and work. Niagara’s internship program has a current female population of over 32% and over 65% identifying as people of color/non-white. The recruiting model incorporates best practices for attracting diverse talent and hiring managers undergo training to mitigate bias. Impactful Internship Program
Niagara knows that understanding what interns bring to the table and how to best empower them to contribute to company goals is crucial to be competitive within the industry. Interns are involved in projects that have a direct impact on the company and are encouraged to identify innovative ideas and implement lean manufacturing principles. Interns embrace technological advancements like automation, robotics, and artificial intelligence to drive efficiency and reduce costs. Interns also focus on supply chain optimization by working with external customers to build strong supplier relationship, inventory management, and ensuring timely delivery and positive customer satisfaction. Interns have the opportunity to build relationships across the business starting from the beginning with their kick off, through their highly visible projects, and via organized social events.
