Throughout the team’s candidate-focused recruitment process, the Early In Career team ensures that candidates are receiving a positive experience when applying for, interviewing for, and onboarding for new positions.

NetApp’s global internship program aims to provide a transformational experience for a diverse array of interns that allows them to refine their interests, passions, and career aspirations to develop a robust talent pipeline for early in career positions. Throughout the program, NetApp provides interns with the opportunity to apply classroom learnings and work experience at NetApp, work on impactful projects with direct business critical impact, develop knowledge and skills both professionally and personally, build a strong cross-functional and global network with not only those in their intern cohort, but also with employees across the business, immerse themselves in NetApp’s collaborative culture, and of course, be considered for future full-time positions. Through the programs’ robust Mentorship Program, professional and leadership development opportunities, From the Lens of the Leaders Series, and more, NetApp interns receive the opportunity to grow and develop through the world-class internship program.

Growth and Development of the Next Generation of Talent

NetApp invests in the retention and development of entry-level hires through several programs curated specifically for early in career talent. One of those talent programs, the NetApp Emerging Talent Program, aims to invest in the growth and development of NET Program participants by increasing their opportunity for impact and inspiring them to have long-term, successful careers with NetApp. Outcomes for participants are that they will develop a strong support network, including an inclusive, global NET community, and will develop growth mindsets and have improved capacity and confidence to lead. Additionally, the Sales, Support, and Services (S3) Academy is a two-year global development program for early in career participants who aspire to become the next generation of NetApp leaders, sales professionals, and technical pioneers. Throughout the program, S3 participants are immersed in the software, systems, and cloud technologies that are helping shape the world today and tomorrow.
