Navy Federal works with their marketing team to create early in career spotlights and program announcements on their corporate social page. Their recruitment team also works with their brand ambassadors to serve as a resource for candidates. Throughout the year, they host information and mentoring sessions such as pre-event connection opportunities, social media best practices education, and financial readiness sessions to help engage entry-level career candidates.
Crafting a Standout Candidate Experience
By providing regular touchpoints to field any questions and providing timely updates, Navy Federal Credit Union ensures a positive candidate experience for student jobseekers. They increase the exposure of their programs and job opportunities by hosting information sessions and coffee chats that provide an inside look at what a day in the life of a Navy Federal team member looks like. Their student jobseekers complete an informal interview screening with university recruiters to discuss position details, job requirements and the next steps in the application process. They host career workshops that welcome students to gain a ‘behind-the-scenes’ look at their hiring process, from applying to interview to acceptance.
Moving the Needle on Diversity & Inclusion
