Standout Candidate Experience

Moody’s Early Careers Team understand that job searching at both the intern or full-time level can be stressful and overwhelming for students. That is why the Moody’s team ensures the full cycle application process for their early career opportunities are as easy and simple as possible. Candidates can track live application updates through their Application Tracking System so they are always on top of their application status. Moody’s also takes a more personalized approach and has their recruiters reach out to candidates directly and schedule all interview rounds with the applicant so the candidate has a person to ask question to. Lastly, Moody’s will never ask candidates to participate in more than 2 rounds of interviews at the early career level and always tries to utilize superdays wherever possible to help move the process along as quickly as possible.

Innovative Use of Technology

Moody’s leverages technology to enhance the results and efficiency of our program by incorporating GenerativeAI, deep integration, and safe automation in our sourcing tools. Moody's recently integrated the HiredScore tool which helps “spotlight” candidates that shows real-time progression of diverse candidates throughout the funnel, making it easy to understand where there might be shortcomings at the requisition level. The tool can also “fetch” qualified candidates by sourcing automation of past requisitions, ATS and CRM leads. This provides a proactive talent retention solution while leveraging AI to recommend both traditional and less traditional career opportunities across Moody's global workforce. Moody’s has also incorporated technology such as RippleMatch which helps streamline the recruiting process and casts a wide net to get qualified and diverse candidates through the process quickly and efficiently.

Impactful Internship Program

At Moody's, interns are integrated as a integral member of the team they are placed on. They are given real project work that largely contributes to the team and their success. Each intern is also given a mentor that they meet with on a weekly basis to talk about the internship, their career goals and learn about the different areas within Moody's. Also, with the internship being a hybrid model, they are given the flexibility to complete trainings virtually or in-person. Moody's also offers an Executive Leadership Team (ELT) speaker series to all interns where they can attend in-person or via Zoom and hear a presentation from the ELT members, ask questions and network. This gives interns unique experience of visibility and access to senior leaders and learn about what they have done in their career and gain insight of where they expect Moody's to grow in the future.
