Molli Shaw - Nominee for Rising Star Award

Molli is an Associate Recruiter at Guild Education. In their role at Guild Education, Molli has assisted in the creation of the (new) 11-week intern program and the recruiting/hiring of 40+ students this summer; all the while keeping diversity and inclusion at the forefront of focus. Molli is passionate about identifying and removing potential biases in the recruiting process to find qualified, diverse candidates with the belief that it will lead to a more inclusive, more just, and more effective workplace. They are building a truly holistic approach to the intern program, from attracting diverse candidates to retaining them.

Career Highlight

The Guild Education internship has grown from an informal operation housing 7 interns in 2020, to an intentionally designed 11-week program consisting of 40+ interns in 2021, despite the late start in the recruiting season. Since her start in February, Molli has assisted in the creation of this brand new program at Guild and helped achieve a diverse hiring rate above 50%; while also designing inclusive and engaging programming, including close conversations with senior leaders and leaders of our Employee Resource Groups, mentorship, Q&A sessions with Recruiters, and more.
