Micaela Bumanglag is a Recruiter at Talend, a data integration and data management platform to actively manage organization-wide data health. At Talend, Micaela is responsible for managing the full intern lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, planning program events, and off-boarding. Prior to Talend, she worked with interns and students at an education nonprofit, sparking her passion for working with early talent. She is eager to learn about how to open doors & create opportunities for the next generation of leaders.

Career Highlight

In 2020, Micaela built Talend's first formalized intern program in the US. She created a global internship program policy to set a foundation for the program; researched best practices from universities and networked with early talent professionals to learn what kinds of opportunities could give interns a fun, valuable experience; then recruited, interviewed, and hired Talend's first summer & fall cohorts of Information Security, Graphic Design, & Legal interns in the US. In the past two years, Micaela has grown the US intern program to include 21 interns, 7 conversions, 63 "coffee chat" networking sessions for interns to meet other Talendians, as well as 12 "lead & learn" opportunities for interns to speak directly with Talend leadership.
