Standout Candidate Experience

Menasha Corporation’s campus recruiting team understands that a positive candidate experience is an integral part to making a strong first impression and start to their journey with the company. First, Menasha Corporation strives to craft a robust job description that is clear to the student job seekers by including what they will get out of the experience and what they will be doing day-to-day in their role. The process starts with an initial phone screen with the campus recruiter, where the conversation is authentic, informative on the process forward, creates a forum for students ask questions, and clearly sets the expectations for the student. Menasha Corporation meets students where they are at and uses several modes of communication; phone, text and email based on the candidate’s preference. Recruiters have offered to provide job seekers the opportunity to speak with previous interns and co-ops to get their questions answered and obtain an honest perspective on the experience. Before each interview, candidates are provided interview tips and a link to the company website to set them up for a successful interview. Menasha Corporation’s ultimate goal is to match students’ career interests with an internship that will propel them forward; if they interview for a position that is not a match, the company will work to pair them with another internship position that better aligns with their career goals. Once students accept their offer, an infographic road map is provided to help them understand the sequence of on-boarding-related events leading up to their first day. In addition, students are sent celebratory social media graphics to announce the acceptance of their new internship!

Overarching Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion

Menasha Corporation has increased its diversity recruiting efforts by taking a school-agnostic approach wherever possible and focusing on skills-based hiring. Menasha Corporation has made their internship experiences more accessible to students across expanded geographies by offering enhanced compensation and incentives to assist with living, relocation, and housing expenses. Menasha Corporation has partnered with several student organizations within universities that support business initiatives. In order to build a diverse pipeline, Menasha Corporation has been a corporate sponsor for universities that have a diverse student population, one being a school known for its high percentage of first-generation students. Beyond campus recruiting, Menasha Corporation supports emerging talent K-12 programs such as SMART Girls Rock, work-based learning/student apprenticeships, mock interviews and career readiness at local high schools, etc. Menasha Corporation is proud to offer interns and employees from all backgrounds support when they join the company through mentorship programs, development opportunities, and Employee Resource Groups such as Young Professionals, Women of Worth, M-Vets, etc.

Impactful Internship Program

Menasha Corporation’s Internship Program focuses on building relationships and presenting meaningful work-based learning opportunities that will positively challenge interns, while helping them grow personally and professionally. Interns are treated like full-time professionals who contribute to their team, have flexibility in their work and are empowered to identify challenges and seek solutions. Interns are encouraged to build peer-to-peer relationships through company-facilitated networking events, team-building events, and community volunteer opportunities. Interns have opportunities to meet and network with business executives in panel interviews, workshops and showcase their contributions during the final capstone presentation. Interns are paired with a mentor, encouraged to join Menasha Corporation Employee Resource Groups, set goals with their hiring manager and are celebrated on National Intern Day. In 2023, 90% of interns responded that after their internship experience, they see a future with Menasha Corporation and 95% of interns stated they would recommend Menasha Corporation to a friend as a place to work.
