The Highlights of memoryBlue's Approach to Early Career Hiring
Building an Innovative and Multi-Faceted Approach to University Recruiting
memoryBlue's Campus Talent Team was ecstatic this year to be heading back onto campuses in person. The team typically attends 20-30 campus events throughout the US; these events are career expos, career networking nights, sales competitions, role play/case studies within classrooms, etc. The team is constantly adding universities and colleges to their list of partners, and have established great relationships with all types of schools and organizations.
Crafting a Standout Candidate Experience
The early career team, or at memoryBlue, the Campus Talent Team, goes above and beyond to ensure that their roles are a good fit for what the candidate wants both to start their career and for future career moves. The Campus Talent Team makes sure they clearly understand what it is the candidate needs in order to make an educated decision on whether memoryBlue is right for them. This includes, but is not limited to, transparency about the role and company, immediate follow-up after interviews, timely offers when selected, and availability to speak with the candidate day or night. memoryBlue's Campus Talent Team is dedicated to ensuring candidates have a smooth and positive experience.
Moving the Needle on Diversity & Inclusion
Representation at the entry-level can move the needle on diversity across the company. That's why the Campus Talent Team at memoryBlue is so passionate about finding and connecting with a diverse range of students across the country. To recruit a diverse slate of candidates, the team has begun forging new relationships with HBCUs, HSIs, and public universities as well as built out a robust set of diversity-focused partnerships with national programs. The team's current largest partnership is with the YearUp program. In addition to recruitment, memoryBlue is proud to offer interns and new grads from underrepresented backgrounds specialized mentorship when they join the company.
Investing in Impactful Internship Programs
memoryBlue's internship program is unlike any other. The interns are integrated into the full-time teams, and are given real-world, hands on, B2B tech sales experience. During their internship, memoryBlue interns will go through memoryBlue's world-class academy, alongside other interns, as well as full-time employees. They will participate in the memoryBlue mentorship program while here, and will be taking on responsibilities similar to that of memoryBlue's full-time employees.
Supporting the Growth and Development of Entry-Level Talent
memoryBlue's full-time roles are exceptional because of how much growth is offered to the candidates. memoryBlue's success with candidates come from three main things. First, memoryBlue has a world-class, technology agnostic, training academy. Second, memoryBlue offers multiple different promotional paths and allows their employees to choose the direction they want their career to go. Third, memoryBlue's culture. memoryBlue is a community of like-minded, driven individuals, who want to see each other succeed.
