Meijer started almost 90 years ago as an independent grocery store with the purpose of helping people provide for themselves and their family. In 1962 Meijer pioneered the supercenter concept and has grown to a company of more than 70,000 team members working in corporate offices, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, and over 265 stores across Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

Impactful Internship Program
Meijer's summer internship is a comprehensive, structured program that challenges interns to deliver innovative solutions to real projects that will impact the business. Interns have access to senior leadership throughout the program, including the Executive Speaker Series and final presentations. Interns attend various trainings related to professional and personal development to help further develop skillsets that can be implemented both during and after the program. Meijer interns are provided with opportunities to attend events that highlight key areas of the Meijer business, provide opportunities to network, and impact local communities.
