To be considered for the Pathfinder Award, individuals had to describe a standout initiative that helped Gen Z candidates discover what’s possible at their companies. By sharing the goals, execution, and outcomes of their efforts, applicants demonstrated how they’re driving awareness and access to under-the-radar opportunities.
Talent Community Nurture Campaign
"Shipt utilizes the Communities and Campaigns features in RippleMatch to build out a pipeline of long-term talent for our internship program. We begin to build out our internship program in February each year and we want to make sure students can stay engaged with Shipt throughout the fall semester before applications open in the spring. Authenticity is one of our core values at Shipt, so we aim to meaningfully connect with students as consistently and directly as we can. Since our recruiting timeline is a little different than many other companies, we meet students throughout the fall at events, through classroom presentations, at student organization meetings, or anywhere else our talent community might be. Throughout that process, we try to keep our talent community aware of key business updates, newsroom stories, and other intern testimonials so they can enter the internship application process feeling as comfortable, confident, and informed as possible. They also receive a detailed overview of the entire application and recruiting process so they have a clear understanding of what to expect. Thanks to the RippleMatch communities and campaign feature, we’re able to let the talent community we engage with be notified as soon as applications go live and they’re able to apply directly from their inbox. We’ve had 190 direct applicants from this campaign with 4 successful hires."
