Megan Eling is the Manager, Talent Acquisition at Graybar. In her role as a member of Graybar's corporate human resources leadership team, Megan manages the organization's talent acquisition strategy and selection assessment process. Megan is responsible for identifying opportunities to optimize the recruitment process, enhance the candidate experience, and leverage technology to automate mundane work so Graybar's recruitment team can focus on more value-added work. Prior to joining Graybar 6 years ago, Megan worked as a Sourcer and Sourcing Team Leader at a well-known pet food manufacturing company. Megan is passionate about creating a talent acquisition process that is efficient, inclusive, and provides exceptional candidate experience.
Career Highlight
"This year, I was proud of the work that my counterpart and I were able to accomplish during a very trying time. We had both only been in our current roles for 3 months when our recruitment team was tasked with hiring almost 200 new sales representatives at a time when our requisition count was already much higher than anticipated. Additionally, our manager of the recruiting team had resigned. We were able to successfully manage the recruitment team, hire more sales representatives than our goal, and quickly ramp up our recruitment agency partners to assist with managing some requisitions in order to maintain our internal recruiters' workloads, in addition to completing our "normal" responsibilities. While it was a trying time, we had a wonderful partnership and many great outcomes."
