Meg Rice - Nominee for Rising Star Award - 2022 Campus Recruiting Choice Awards

Meg is Program Manager of University Relations at HORNE, ranked the fastest-growing firm in the U.S. for 2021 based on organic growth by Inside Public Accounting. In her role, Meg is responsible for recruiting students from universities across the country for accounting, data analytics, cyber, marketing, and many other services for the firm. She also directs the seasonal intern program and guides associate hires from the program into their full-time roles at HORNE. Meg is passionate about guiding individuals to become their fullest and best selves and driving them to their highest potential.

Career Highlight

In a competitive and virtual labor market, Meg was tasked with creating a program to fulfill the wants and needs for young talent at HORNE. Meg crafted a set of engaging events and networking strategies that educated prospective candidates about HORNE's early career opportunities through a variety of channels. From planning weekend-long events, coordinating semester-long programs, and using a hybrid approach to recruit young talent across the country, Meg has gained interest from over 500 students and has hired over 100 students as interns and/or associates into the firm since starting at HORNE eight months ago.
