Matt is a Recruitment Manager at Burns & McDonnell. Matt is responsible for leading a team of high-performing individuals who recruit interns, new graduates and early career talent (0-3 years of professional experience) across all locations, markets and subsidiaries. His team also plans and executes the firm's internship and co-op program, and manages campus strategy and relationships with more than 125 schools worldwide. Matt is passionate about increasing the diversity of candidates in the A/E/C industry and within Burns & Mac, as well as leveraging technology and efficiencies in the recruitment process.

Career Highlight

In the thick of the pandemic and the transformation of virtual recruiting in the early career space, Matt led efforts to enhance Burns & McDonnell's diversity recruitment programs all while helping scale the firm's significant growth forecasts. Through new avenues to reach diverse talent, to leveraging technology in new ways, the firm has almost doubled the amount of hires in the early career space from previous years. Matt is most proud of the people on his team and seeing them have enormous growth and success in their individual careers.
