Martin is currently Global Head of Early Career Talent at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, a leading bio-tech company based in Boston, MA where he owns the talent strategy surrounding Vertex’s university relations and early career programs. Martin provides thought leadership to cultivate, drive and maintain relationships with key university partners, fostering new and innovative collaborations. He is focused on creating sustainable and scalable recruitment strategies to engage students, professors, department heads, community leaders, internal colleagues and others.

After so many years in this field, what Martin values and is most proud of are the countless students he has had the privilege to meet and help start their careers. When Martin thinks back to the start of his path in Early Career, he never imagined that he would be able to look back and see individuals that are now managing directors, senior VPs, and successful entrepreneurs. It has been incredibly rewarding for Martin to see their careers thrive and know that he was there when it all got started. To him, it is truly inspiring and what makes this job all the more rewarding.
