Mandy Quainoo - Nominee for Talent Innovator Award - 2022 Campus Recruiting Choice Awards

Mandy is a Recruiter at Epic, a healthcare software company in Wisconsin. Mandy is responsible for diversity initiatives in recruiting, non-technical recruiting, and new recruiter training. In addition, she manages a team of three recruiters. Prior to working in HR, Mandy worked as a Project Manager at Epic, helping healthcare organizations customize the software to meet their needs. Mandy is passionate about diversifying the workforce in the STEM industry. Epic supports a variety of opportunities for young students to get involved and interested in those fields, to improve the diversity of the STEM pipeline for all companies, not just Epic.

Career Highlight

Mandy has helped double the number of apprenticeships offered to high school students this summer to support students of color. She is working on one more partnership with Project SEARCH for students with disabilities to have the opportunity to intern at Epic. She is excited to work with so many great community organizations, like Boys & Girls Club, Urban League, and Information Technology Academy (local to Wisconsin), and proud of Epic for prioritizing the recruitment of underrepresented talent in the STEM industry.
