Malini Agarwal is the Head of Campus Recruiting at Guardian Life. In their role at Guardian Life, Malini is responsible for developing and enhancing the enterprise-wide campus recruiting strategy and leading the internship and early careers programs. She effectively collaborates with key internal partners, business partners, and the Equity and Inclusion team to define a hiring plan and align on key goals and priorities. She leads the overall design of Guardian’s campus recruitment processes, as well as key deliverables and success metrics. Prior to their role at Guardian, Malini was the Head of Campus and Diversity Recruiting at Viking Global Investors. Malini is passionate about forming new, creative opportunities and initiatives to elevate Guardian’s campus program and brand them as an employer of choice for students and new graduates.
Career Highlight
"In this period of post-COVID, I crafted a Keep-Warm Strategy to stay connected to interns from the time they received their offer to their first day at Guardian. They received a monthly newsletter and took part in monthly webinars to meet each other and learn more about what the summer program entails. Their managers and mentors connected with them multiple times ahead of the program so they could give a preview of the projects they would be working on. It improved their confidence and got them excited to get connected to each other in advance of the summer intern program. This strategy helped managers and interns be successful at the onset of the program."
