Innovative and Multi-Faceted Approach to University Recruitment
The recruitment team at MAHLE has various ways of getting in front of early talent. From attending in-person and virtual career fairs at its key universities, to sponsoring organizations such as SWE, NSBE, and FSAE teams, to attending various on-site collegiate events. MAHLE has a dual approach that allows students to engage with MAHLE employees and also allows the managers to engage with the students. Once candidates enter the pipeline, it is a very seamless experience for not only the candidate, but also the manager.
Overarching Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion
MAHLE has a unique approach to recruiting diverse talent. MAHLE engages in sponsorships with local organizations at key universities such as SWE, NSBE, and SHPE. MAHLE also has strategic goals in place for 2023 to expand the HBCU and HSI partnerships. Internally, MAHLE offers various training and professional development opportunities for early talent. It has a Young Professionals group, as well as ERGs focused on early talent.
Impactful Internship Program
At MAHLE, interns and co-ops are treated like full-time employees. They are given projects that contribute to MAHLE's success and they are able to make an impact. A majority of the company’s technical intern positions will work 100% on-site, but MAHLE does offer a hybrid environment for those positions that do not require the hands-on environment. Every intern at MAHLE has a reporting supervisor, as well as an assigned mentor. Throughout the intern/co-ops duration with MAHLE, they will be given various projects and also one large project, which they will work on throughout their duration with MAHLE. MAHLE continuously encourages interns to either return, or if graduating, apply to full-time positions.
Growth and Development of the Next Generation of Talent
MAHLE has an intuitive onboarding, training, and mentorship program for interns and entry-level full-time hires. MAHLE offers various required and personal development trainings through LinkedIn Learning, and has various different ERGs focusing on early talent and retention.
