“As a dynamic HR professional specializing in Early Career Talent Acquisition, Maddie has consistently driven impact and innovation for our early career programs. Her career started after college in agency staffing for technical roles, where she quickly discovered her passion for connecting with emerging talent. Recognizing the importance of being the resource she lacked at the start of my career, Maddie transitioned to early career recruiting to make a meaningful difference. Her mission is to be the kind of resource she wished she’d had when starting her own career - approachable, supportive, and always willing to go the extra mile to help others find their path! Maddie is dedicated to meeting talent where they are; whether that's grabbing lunch on campus with them, engaging with campus organizations, facilitating industry experts to speak to students, attending mock interviews and resume reviews or giving real world feedback. Authenticity is the secret sauce for connecting with this generation. They are eager, bright and want a real connection in the recruitment process. Maddie believes it is her #1 job to ensure candidates understand our brand, values and culture, fostering pride in joining SGWS for internships or full-time roles. In her role Maddie has built an immeasurable reputation with candidates, campus partners and our internal stakeholders. Leveraging these relationships has allowed her to make a huge impact on our early career programs. Maddie is involved in every aspect of our programs including white glove service to all candidates, assisting in onboarding 130+ interns nationally, cohosting onboarding calls and presentations, and leading programs like VolunCHEERS week through our CHEERS Employee Resource Groups; allowing our interns to become involved with the communities we serve. Maddie has made a large impact on our campus branding strategy by working with our internal and external creative partners, leading wine & spirits education, design and implementation of our 1st Campus Ambassador program and subsequent training and volunteering with junior achievement. Although Maddie is still early in her career she is such a force on the team. She is just getting started but already a leader. She is shaping the future of recruitment one semester at a time!”
