Lisa Pick - Nominee for Exceptional Leader Award - 2023 Campus Recruiting Choice Awards

Lisa is an AVP, Talent Acquisition for Pennymac. She has been with Pennymac for going on 7 years where she started as a campus recruiter. In her role she, is responsible for leading the University Recruitment Team and building Pennymac's University Recruitment strategy. Prior to joining Pennymac, Lisa was an executive recruiter at Premier Financial Search where she focused on recruiting in the public accounting space. Lisa loves working in the University Recruitment field because she has the opportunity to speak to kids from different walks of life and hear their stories. She is passionate about helping others achieve their goals and believes that you should love what you do, and she loves being able to bring great talent in and helping each person find the right opportunity.

"The last several years were unlike any we have ever seen before in the world, but certainly in the world of recruiting. I believe it is important to acknowledge how difficult these years were for students across the board, but especially those in college. The need to adapt our strategy and our ability to make connections was imperative. My team took this challenge and ran with it. We built out online recruitment strategies and workshops to help students learn how to navigate these times. We made sure that every interaction was meaningful and a good use of the candidate's time. Finally, we recognized that students spent a good amount of their days online, so we created a strategy that provided interaction with not only our team but also other students."
