Lisa Kappil spent her childhood in both Houston, TX and Chennai, India. After graduating high school in India, she attended Texas A&M University where she fell in love with the field of Student Affairs. There, she decided to pursue her Masters in Educational Administration, and after three years of working full-time in Student Affairs, she pivoted to Early Careers Recruiting at Visa in July 2022. She now works as a Sourcing Specialist executing recruiting events at partner schools in Texas, and is incredibly passionate about providing a student-focused, empathetic, and relatable approach in her interactions on-campus.

"I always have a student-centered approach in every interaction with potential candidates, both virtually and on-campus, that is rooted in understanding and empathy. I strive to be relatable and accessible to students and incorporate new college graduates in my events so students can see themselves represented at Visa. I support their personal and professional goals by executing intentional recruiting events on-campus and participating in mentorship opportunities to support students’ growth and development. These efforts have proven successful in bridging the gap between Gen Z candidates and their potential career paths at Visa."
