Lauren Houk - Nominee for Career Catalyst Award - 2023 Campus Recruiting Choice Awards

Lauren is the University Programs Team Manager at Smartsheet, a publicly traded SaaS company that’s changing the way the world works. In her role at Smartsheet, Lauren is responsible for overseeing global internship programs, and university and early-career talent partners. Prior to this role, Lauren wore different hats during her first 5+ years at Smartsheet, including recruiting coordinator, associate recruiter, and program manager. This summer will be Lauren’s fourth summer leading the internship program, with exciting expansions upcoming into Costa Rica. Lauren is passionate about connecting with early career talent, creating an inclusive environment, and supporting others' growth and success.

Career Highlight

"We are a small but mighty team. Last year, we participated in 15 university events, including on-campus and virtual career fairs across the US. We continue to grow our partnership with the University of Washington State, local to our headquarters, as well as expand our reach to HBCUs such as Virginia State University and Howard University. This year we have visited prospective university partners in Costa Rica, have begun a new partnership with Edlyft, a program designed for students from historically underrepresented communities in the tech industry, and are gearing up to welcome our 2023 summer intern cohort."
