Lauren is a Senior University Recruiter with Pennymac, one of the nation's most respected mortgage companies. She has a genuine passion for working with early career talent, and is driven by collaborating with candidates to enhance and leverage their talents, skills, knowledge, and experiences to design their future careers and connect them with valuable career opportunities at Pennymac. Lauren graduated from Florida International University with a B.S. in Communication and a B.A. in English. Afterward, she went on to pursue her Master's in Student Personnel in Higher Education at the University of Florida.

"We developed multiple events strategies throughout our recruitment cycle, such as professional development workshops to encourage candidates to apply and prepare them for their personal job search. Our most successful events were our information sessions, providing candidates with a better understanding of the company, as well as the program they specifically applied for. Each information session included the University Recruitment team, company stakeholders, as well as current program members who gave insight into their experiences. We also conducted in-person and virtual career fairs, and hosted continuous engagement events from hire to start to connect with new hires prior to onboarding."
