Lauren Berger is a Senior Recruiting Manager at Roku, specializing in University & DEI Recruiting. In her role at Roku, Lauren is responsible for leading its global university recruiting efforts, managing teams of all-star Recruiters and Program Managers, and building an inclusive interview processes across the business. In her time at Roku, she has helped scale the intern program, shift the way the company invests in junior talent, and pioneered its Inclusive Recruiting initiatives. Prior to her role at Roku, Lauren was a University Recruiter at Meta, and University Program Manager & Recruiter for Sonos.

Career Highlight

Since March 2020, under Lauren's leadership, the UR team at Roku has had the opportunity to build a foundation for a university recruitment strategy that will last for years to come. In partnership with stakeholders throughout the company, the UR team has built internal trainings for Intern Managers, established formal campus recruitment strategies, created a global Intern New Hire Orientation, all with the lens of supporting and advancing the company's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion recruiting efforts. With the twists and turns of the last 2 years, Lauren has prioritized leading her team and program with empathy, focusing on creating processes that can pivot with each roadblock, and programs that create inclusive and welcoming environments for all those involved.
