Larrishia spent many years furthering her education and developing skills in the HR and recruitment space. After her education and internships, Larrishia acquired more experience as an HR Business Partner in the paper and forestry industry. Following her time with the paper and forestry industry, Larrishia joined the diverse team at Gilead Sciences, a research-based biopharmaceutical company. In her current role as Director of Early Talent and University Relations (ETUR), Larrishia actively seeks disruptors whose talent will continue to grow the company and assist diverse young professionals in finding a home within the biopharmaceutical field.

Career Highlight

"I am most proud this year of how the ETUR team increased targeted diversity populations for internship representations across our targeted demographics. I have actively worked towards creating inclusive opportunities for underrepresented groups by implementing strategic initiatives and forging partnerships with organizations focused on diversity and inclusion. Witnessing the positive impact of these efforts, such as seeing a diverse cohort of interns thriving and bringing fresh perspectives to the table, fills me with immense pride. I am committed to continuing this work, advocating for equitable access, and fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates the strengths and contributions of individuals from all backgrounds."
