Nominated For: The Rising Star Award

This award recognizes the early-career recruitment professionals who are already driving impact and pushing the industry forward, despite being newer to the university recruitment space. With fresh perspectives and a finger on the pulse of Gen Z, they’re helping their teams better understand and engage today’s candidates. Whether through standout events, stronger messaging, or elevating candidate experience, these individuals are shaping the future of recruitment from day one.

From the Community: Why this Nominee Stands Out

To be considered for the CRCAs, individuals had to be nominated by a peer, manager, colleague, or direct report. This quote was shared by the person who nominated this person for recognition, highlighting the impact and excellence they’ve demonstrated.

“Kylie has made a profound impact on early career recruitment through her innovative thinking and exceptional execution.
Kylie played a crucial role in supporting and managing the implementation of a grant that aimed to bring 54 interns to CGI. She supported this grant from January 2024 to April 2025 and has since been instrumental in creating roles and opportunities for those Scholars to apply for, demonstrating her commitment to nurturing young talent.
Her dedication to project-based learning in partnership with UL Lafayette has been remarkable. For six semesters, Kylie has managed the execution of this initiative, consistently hiring at least two students from each group, and sometimes more. This ongoing effort has strengthened our recruitment pipeline and fostered valuable industry-academic collaboration.
Kylie is also assisting with the implementation and improvement of CGI’s high school and early college Bridge Internship program, showcasing her ability to adapt and enhance recruitment strategies for younger candidates.
Her creativity shines through the "Intro to Loving Lafayette" program, which she implemented for interns in Lafayette. By organizing insider tours of the city, Kylie has successfully engaged interns, encouraging them to consider Lafayette as a vibrant place to live post-graduation.
Additionally, Kylie mentors first-generation students through LSU's First to Roar mentorship program, a testament to her dedication to supporting and guiding young professionals.
Kylie's outstanding contributions were recognized when she won the 2024 Outstanding Employer Professional award at the Louisiana Association of Colleges and Employers (LACE) Conference. Her innovative approaches and unwavering commitment to early career recruitment make her a deserving candidate for the Rising Star award.”
