Kristi Alu
Director of Early Career Talent

Kristi is the Director of Early Career Talent & University Programs at Blackbaud. In this role, she aims to further build Blackbaud’s diverse pipeline of future leaders and lead dynamic early career talent programs that align with the company’s strategic goals in powering social good. Outside of her work in Talent Acquisition, Kristi currently serves as Executive Sponsor of the Social Impact Champions affinity group at Blackbaud. She is also the Co-Chair of DEI at NACE (National Association of Colleges and Employers). Kristi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Neuropsychology from UNCA, and most recently completed her Master’s in HR Development and Organizational Psychology from Villanova University.

Career Highlight

Kristi implemented new attraction, selection, and cultivation strategies based around recruiting diverse early career talent. She is proud to share that these efforts in 2022 led to the onboarding of Blackbaud's most diverse class of interns to date, resulting in 74% of the global class representing a diverse hire. Kristi is proud to lead at a company that not only prioritizes hiring future leaders of social good, but also the development and retention of underrepresented early career talent.
