Kristen is the Early Career Recruiting Manager at Figma where she’s responsible for building and scaling equitable and impactful early talent programs across tech and biz, along with supporting the growing team! Prior to her role at Figma, she began her recruiting career at Lyft, a part of the foundational team responsible for the first campus strategy to eventually support each business pillar. Kristen is passionate about educating the business on the incredible impact of early career talent, motivating recruiters to be leaders in the field, and connecting with all communities in a creative way.

Career Highlight

What’s most important to Kristen as a manager is ensuring that every teammate has an impactful sense of ownership and feels empowered to try new things. In order to best support each report, Kristen conducts individual development plans outside of formal performance reviews as a quarterly check-in on how each person is feeling in their role and to give dedicated space to create longer-term stretch goals together. With IDPs and brainstorming sessions, the team has bootstrapped new event series, recruiting strategies, and created new roles within the Early Career team.
