Kristen Dauler - Nominee for Talent Innovator Award

Kristen is a University Recruiting Manager at Figma where they’re responsible for building and scaling equitable and impactful early talent programs. Prior to their role at Figma, they began their recruiting career at Lyft, a part of the foundational team responsible for building the first campus strategy along with inclusive programs. Eventually, they grew the University function to support each business pillar. Kristen is passionate about educating the business on the incredible impact of students, motivating recruiters to be a long-term resource for their candidates, and connecting with student communities in a creative way.

Career Highlight

Kristen began at Figma a few short weeks before the hiring season began, tasked with building Figma’s first University Recruiting strategy and it needing to be completely virtual due to COVID-19. Kristen pulled the necessary data to understand where to focus first which included partnering with external platforms covering inclusive technical assessments, virtual events, and last but not least, working with nonprofits who support underrepresented student communities. Based on the success from year one, Figma is thrilled to continue these partnerships.
