Emerging Talent Program Manager, Gensler

Kimberly is the Firmwide Emerging Talent Program Manager at Gensler. Kimberly's role is responsible for the strategy behind Gensler's university outreach efforts, scholarship initiatives, internships, and licensure support--anything that relates to emerging talent. Prior to their role at Gensler, Kimberly worked as the Director of Leadership & Career Services at the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) and worked with national partners to bring career prep opportunities to their student membership. She is passionate about helping the next generation of architects with advancing in the profession and achieving their career goals.

Career Highlight

Kimberly spearheaded the creation of the new DEI scholarship, Gensler's Rising Black Designers, breaking barriers for students of color to continue their architectural education. She further managed new and invigorated outreach to the HBCU architecture community and spearheaded a mentorship program that not only provided students with direct connections to mentors across the country, but also included important funding to those schools. Lastly, that work has supported the opportunity to offer internships to 14 of those students for this summer.
