Khortney Hundley - Nominee for Talent Innovator Award - 2023 Campus Recruiting Choice Awards

Khortney is the Lead Recruiter for the Early Career Program for the Talent Acquisition organization at Otis, with an emphasis on diversity. In her role at Otis, Khortney is responsible for overseeing early career and diversity recruitment efforts by educating prospective candidates and hiring for approximately 200 internship and full-time opportunities. Prior to her current role, Khortney has held various roles of increasing responsibility as an HR Business Partner at Otis, and UTC Aerospace Systems (presently known as Collins Aerospace). Khortney is extremely passionate about building a diverse and inclusive hiring process for campus recruiting.

Career Highlight

"This year, I was so excited to expand our university partnership programs with several National Focus Schools, HBCUs, HSIs, and National Diversity Organizations to increase diverse representation for our internship and full-time programs. Within these partnerships, we hosted a wide variety of events via classroom visits, virtual and in-person information and professional development sessions, resume reviews, lobby days for branding activity, and small group engagement with students, including freshmen. We’ve also further developed our presence by partnering with local clubs and organizations on college campuses, as a further extension to some of our current National Partnerships."
