Career Highlight

Katie Lambert has built Freedom Financial Network’s inaugural summer internship program, a 12-week pilot program for 10 technology undergraduate students. Not only is the internship program new for the company, but Katie’s role is also brand new. She joined Freedom in October 2021 and hit the ground running. She built strong relationships with hiring managers and recruited talent from top universities in Arizona, California, and Texas. She managed all aspects of the program including sourcing and screening candidates, extending offers, engaging interns prior to their start date, coordinating professional development workshops, and creating manager playbooks. Given the success of the program, it will expand company-wide for summer 2023 and Katie will continue to lead the initiative.
