Katia Ratkovich - Nominee for Exceptional Leader Award - 2023 Campus Recruiting Choice Awards

Katia is Splunk’s Global Head of Emerging Talent. Katia’s team is responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract and retain top-quality emerging talent through campus recruitment efforts and Splunk’s partnerships with organizations with HireMilitary and Year Up. Prior to her role at Splunk, Katia worked in Recruitment Operations at LinkedIn. Her work focuses on the critical role emerging talent plays in achieving an inclusive environment through creating a diverse, global workforce. Katia is a member of Splunk’s Women in Technology group and outside of work, can be found traveling, cooking up new recipes, and spending time with family and friends.

Career Highlight

"I am extremely proud to share that my team has achieved numerous significant successes in the last year. We have expanded our intern program to new regions including Korea, Japan, and Taiwan, which has allowed us to attract diverse talent and increase our global presence. Additionally, we are growing the program rapidly in Poland, tripling our hiring from previous years. Moreover, our team has made great progress in increasing applications for our HBCU Splunk Scholarship, and introduced a school-agnostic component to our recruitment strategy, hosting 14+ events that engaged thousands of students from different schools and backgrounds. We have improved our hiring process and done a complete website refresh to better brand Splunk to emerging talent populations globally. I am incredibly proud of my team for their dedication and hard work."
