Katia is Splunk’s Global Head of Early Talent. Katia leads a global team responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain top quality, diverse early talent worldwide. Prior to starting at Splunk in 2014, Katia worked in Talent Acquisition at LinkedIn where she first got a glimpse into the world of early talent recruitment and its role in achieving a diverse and inclusive environment. One of Katia's favorite aspects of her role is seeing previous interns succeed in their full-time careers at Splunk. Some of her first interns are now directors!

Career Highlight

Katia started the "Splunktern Program" as Splunk's first formal initiative focused on hiring early talent. The Splunktern program first launched in 2014 as an initiative intended to change Splunk’s demographics and diversify the organization through entry-level hiring. The program transitioned from an intern program to a global early talent initiative, scaling from ~30 interns in 2014 to 300+ interns, as well as hiring over 150 new grads. Katia's team has grown significantly across the globe and continues to make an impact on the organization year-over-year.
