KacieJo Brown is a University Recruiter with LPL Financial. Previously, she has worked directly on college campuses within academic curriculum, student engagement, conduct, and compliance. In her current role, she is responsible for the recruitment of several corporate functions for interns and new grads. In addition to, representing the company at university events, co-curating the summer program curriculum, and providing a best in class experience for interns and hiring managers. As a first generation college student, she is passionate about providing information, resources, and opportunities for the next generation of leaders within the wealth management and fintech space.

"Being a first generation college student, I have personally experienced the barriers and difficulties when navigating the job search process and then entering corporate America. Seeing these college students and recent grads are the future of the workforce, I personally implemented a Campus Ambassador initiative that’s offer during the school year and a Mentorship program throughout summer as interns and new grads dive into the onboarding/transition period. I’m extremely fortunate that my team and I have the same common mission of providing development opportunities both personally and professionally.
