Jess Jakimiec - Nominee for Rising Star Award

Jess is a WinField United College Recruiter at Land O'Lakes, Inc. In their role at Land O'Lakes, Inc., Jess is responsible for attracting and retaining top-talent in the Agronomy space, as well as ensuring the success of WinField United Summer Internship Program. Prior to their as College Recruiter, Jess spent two years at a Dairy Manufacturing facility in Carlisle, PA as a HR Business Partner for Land O'Lakes, Inc. Jess is passionate about building relationships with young talent and finding life-long career opportunities for these talented individuals.

Career Highlight

During the onset of COVID-19, Jess transitioned into a College Recruiter role. She was tasked with quickly learning her responsibilities, as well as understanding the complexity of the WinField United business. She then had to take this newly acquired knowledge and effectively transition it into a virtual recruiting environment. Despite these challenges, Jess was able to successfully fill all of WinField United's internships for the upcoming summer. Concurrently, Jess spearheaded an Intern Engagement Program that included virtual Meet & Greet sessions and "Get to Know Me" segments.
