Heather Faulkner is a recognized talent strategist and change management leader with over 18 years of expertise in diversifying and modernizing recruiting tactics for some of the most recognizable businesses in the world, including those in retail, finance, automotive, consulting, and technology. At the moment, Heather Faulkner oversees Verizon's prestigious US Campus initiatives, which pipelines up-and-coming talent through internships, Co-Op, entry-level, and Leadership Development Program possibilities. She is a skilled data-driven talent acquisition leader who is committed to teamwork and performance excellence. She oversees talent planning, staffing strategy, university relations, campus ambassador programs, and the on-campus experience for all of Verizon's US business units. Heather lives in the Northern NJ market with her husband and two sons. In her spare time, she loves being with her family, scrapbooking, skiing, volunteering, and golfing. Heather holds a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from Strayer University and earned a PROSCI Change management certificate in 2012.

Career Highlight

"Have you ever been told that if you can believe it, you can achieve it? While that might seem corny, there's a lot of truth to it. I know from personal experience. In just under two years, I have had the privilege of leading Verizon’s US Campus team. We started as a traditional staffing team, and in a short period of time, doubled our size while forging our place as a core talent segment within Talent Acquisition. It’s been far from easy, but through tremendous leadership in Human Resources, belief in the possibility of what is possible, and a team joined together by a common goal, we have moved mountains together. We grew from a small staffing team, to a strategic University Relations powerhouse; complete with reporting operations, diversity ambassadors, a seat at the table with workforce planning, and gaining approval to centralized costs across five business units. We quadrupled our campus events, dove firsthand into strategic partnerships, and overhauled our selection process as one unified team. And we aren’t done. Because we are empowered to achieve even more, together."
