“As an Early Careers Partner at Navy Federal Credit Union, Harlee Pattarozzi recruits early career talent and enhances the scope and structure of the program through thoughtful and strategic advocacy for early career candidates. In her role, Harlee is responsible for recruitment efforts for our Summer Associate Program, a 12-week internship open to all degree-seeking students. Interns in the program work on projects that positively impact and directly align with Navy Federal Credit Union’s Enterprise Strategy. 

Harlee also assists with recruiting for the Year Round Internship Program, where interns work in areas focused on in-demand skills such as Artificial Intelligence, cloud computing, data science, cybersecurity, process improvement, and operations for their designated business units. As a former Year Round intern, Harlee is passionate about attracting and retaining early talent, acting as an ambassador for early career programs, and advocating for candidates. Part of advocating for candidates is understanding that they value meaningful work as part of an organization that provides transparency and opportunities for continuous development and aligns with their values.

To provide transparency and support throughout, Harlee sets clear expectations for the interview process and timeline and provides interview preparation and constructive post-interview feedback. She also shares valuable information on Navy Federal Credit Union’s policies and benefits, including community engagement and impact, volunteer leave, and professional development opportunities and resources. She is dedicated to providing memorable, positive, and thorough candidate and intern experiences, ensuring an inclusive recruitment process.

Harlee goes above and beyond to increase exposure to Navy Federal Credit Union’s programs and career opportunities by attending local college and university career fairs, hosting virtual information sessions for degree-seeking students nationwide, and attending national conferences, such as Grace Hopper Celebration and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers’ annual convention. She actively engages with attendees from a large network of talent communities when attending conferences, providing information about Navy Federal’s mission, culture, and internship programs. Harlee ensures a unique and personalized candidate experience through thoughtful engagement and utilization of various candidate resources, resulting in beneficial hires for Navy Federal Credit Union’s award-winning internship programs.”
