Hansford Johnson is a human resources and diversity leader that drives growth and results through clear linkage between Traveler’s business strategy and effective human resources and people strategies. Hansford is the Assistant Vice President in the Office of Diversity & Inclusion where he is responsible for diverse employee retention strategies, serves as the internal consultant/partner responsible for the assessment, design and execution of targeted diverse talent sourcing strategies in Talent Acquisition and leads the Travelers EDGE program, which helps increase the number of underrepresented students who complete a bachelor's degree.

Career Highlight

Since joining Travelers in 2017, Hansford has led the University Relations team in developing and cultivating partnerships with community based organizations, affinity associations, HBCUs, HSIs, and college access programs to increase the year over year hiring and development of diverse talent. Hansford is proud and honored to lead at a company that believes diversity drives innovation and is a business imperative.
