Career Highlight
"Today's recruiting world is truly a candidate's market, and the students we are recruiting often have so many opportunities at their fingertips. At JMS, we recognize that these students should feel empowered to make the right decision for their careers. Throughout this past recruiting cycle, our team focused on being transparent and inclusive, and on the candidate care experience. We were transparent with students about our pay rates and housing stipend, provided 1:1 connection points for ID&E candidates to meet with ERG members throughout the interview process, and created a Teams channel to connect all of the incoming students with one another to share resources and communicate with one another. We also provided a session on 'how to negotiate offers and ask companies for more time', and have been strong advocates to raise their pay rates and housing stipends. In addition to this, we have also pulled materials from Linkedin to train our current and incoming Intern managers on best practices for managing Generation Z."
